Our Story

Away Day Care is an independent, family run care provider with a range of provisions across multiple care settings and sites. 

Founded 15 years ago by our current Managing Director, our service began as a mixed group Adult Day Service, catering to the needs of those with an assessed need of all ages. From humble beginnings, our service has grown organically year on year to reach a diverse range of service users with a multitude of assessed health and social needs all across our borough and beyond.

Our Service

Our current service provisions include a young adult Day Service, Community Outreach Support, Domiciliary Care, a Complex and Additional Needs Respite Service, and Supported Living Support. Our range of services has always developed through service user needs and has been driven by those individuals accessing and their families, to meet the needs of people in our local community. This has ensured our support to these individuals has been tailored and as person-centered as possible so that all needs are met.
